TOD: Chocolate chip now, Oreos when I was a kid. I've made ginger snaps and bizcochitos.

I've heard Weill's second several times - I think I own five recordings, but I'll listen again. My favorite Weill is Street Scene.

I figured you had, I was just surprised that you find it that different musically from Seven Deadly Sins. Street Scene is awesome. I'm hoping Der Silbersee on stage lives up to my expectations.

Bruce, my comments are only statements about what is happening, not frustration or complaints regarding the issues with the site.  They are only so that you are aware, plus they are posts :)

I appreciate your keeping the site running.  Thank you.

Question, am I the only one finding the font on the notes smaller, and lighter?

I guess I'm confused because maybe our screens are just different.  On your screen, aren't the names of the HHW-ers fairly large even when there are no avatars?

I'm so used to reading the comments sections of the New York Times which really have no avatars other than the screen name, or All that Chat where it's just the screen name next to the postings.  And even Facebook - While Facebook has profile photos next to the comments, they're so small that the profile photos don't identify anyone for me.

I agree with you Freddie.

Mom’s cookies were all I liked as a kid. I tasted store-bought cookies at a few school events and they invariably disappointed. The lone exception was Oreos.

Yes to Oreos.

Just had some Strawberry Newtons yesterday.  Excellent with coffee!

I only like the original fig.

We finished the season of THE LINCOLN LAWYER last night.  After watching the first five episodes one per day, the plot really took off and we stayed and semi-binged, watching episodes 6 through 10 in one evening.

Another clever twist at the end of the final (tenth) episode, that for fans of the series, make you really look forward to the next season.

Elliott Gould, whose performance in LINCOLN LAWYER episode 5 seemed off and I was surprised they didn't choose to reshoot, was better in episode 6, but still a bit off.

It was enough to make me wonder if Mr. Gould himself is OK.

I ushered for a show of eight singers showing some differences between opera and Broadway. It was excellent.
