Back from the theater and a phone call. I just stayed for the first scene and left. Small crowd - thirty-five, but we just got the luck of the draw for this weekend and next - this weekend we're dealing with the Olympics and Stupid Bowl and next we're dealing with Valentine's and President's Day's long weekend.

Just ordered some red beans and rice from Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. Three bucks off and you get two chicken legs for only eighty cents more.

Tonight's audience wasn't as boisterous as last night's but they were laughing and enjoying themselves.

Speaking of Scopitones and rules not applying, this Scopitones classic is always worth another look

For some reason my sound bar will not turn on with the remote or the button on top.

I changed the battery in the remote and unplugged and replugged the device.

I guess after almost 8 years, it has bitten the dust.

Oh, no. :(

Anyway, we're at exactly ZERO (0) degrees with wind chill of -20 degrees on the Fahrenheit scale.

Speaking of the Olympics, I thought this was interesting:

Curling stones are specialized 38–44 lb (average 42 lb) granite rocks, exclusively sourced from Ailsa Craig, Scotland, or Trefor, Wales, known for low water absorption to prevent freezing damage. Used in sets of 16 (8 red, 8 yellow handles), they cost over $600 each or ~$9,600 per set. With proper maintenance—refurbishing the running band every 5–10 years—they can last for decades.

Very interesting.

I see page five and then I start to panic
Where's page six, where's page six, where's page six.

We watched the new premiere of The Muppet Show and found it an unalloyed delight. I never really saw the original, except a clip here and there.

I would like to see it, but I don't have Disney+.  I remember watching the original The Muppet Show when it originally aired, and bought the first three seasons of the remastered and complete series, but they never released seasons four and five! >:(
