The traffic this morning was horrendous. Road construction made driving treacherous. But my first behavioral challenge, a young lad named Wyatt, is absent today.

Sorry about the construction.

I took my old xfinity TV Box/Remote/Power Source to the UPS store to send them back since I got my new 4K streaming box.

The girl who helped me moved here from Arizona. She had to return a tv box when her previous one conked out after only two years. She thinks she drives better in snow than the folks who were born in Indiana. She previously worked in a salon doing eyelashes.

But that's all I could find out because I was only there for about a minute and a half.

What is everyone's favorite Ricky Nelson tune?

That is a hard one.  Of his earlier songs, maybe Hello Mary Lou - Goodbye Heart.

Garden Party.

I was interested to read that the NY Times is changing the Wordle rules, and will now allow words to repeat.

Interesting.  When I first heard about and starting playing Wordle, I vaguely remember that you could download the game and that there were about 5000 or so words built in.  That's 13 or so years' worth, which is quite a long time of playing before it would run out of words.

I guess they'd run out of 5-letter words eventually.

Wordle hasn't been around for 13 years yet. ::)

Hopefully, it's an excused absence.

I am getting old. I finally discovered why I never heard from Amazon Fresh: my delivery is scheduled for 6:00 to 8:00PM!

So . . .  I cancelled the order and reordered. It should arrive tomorrow, 8:00 to 10:00AM.

Glad you realized that and were able to fix the situation!

I'm up, I'm up - got up at seven after only four and a half hours of sleep. Caught up on stuff on the computer, thought about going back to bed but food will be here at noon, so I'll just futz and finesse until then.

I was to have three problem children today, one at a time, not all together. All three are absent today.

Two hours of futzing and finessing. Tons of little adjustments, breaking up the long dialogue stuff with prose, and especially the final chapter wasn't smooth at all, so that got a whole new page, basically, and while I loved the IDEA of the last paragraph and line, I'd written it very poorly. I think I got it right finally, but I'll look at it one more time before sending it off.
