I’m subbing for a high school health teacher today.

Does that mean sex education?

Thank goodness, no. I don’t need a continuing education class from them.

  Brain Booster capsules

We'll get back to you on whether we notice they're working.        ;)

This is so weird...

I glance up at my HHW tab and I'm not even sure if I'm logged in without avatars (including my own) showing.  :)

From DR Kevin,

Quote
Good to hear that Craig can drive his car.   As for me, there is so much snow and ice behind my car (it looks like more than there was the other day) that it's pretty hopeless.

He started his attack on the ice with a hammer.  I wish he had taken a before photo.  If the mainentance crew hadn't lent him the metal shovel he might still be out there hammering away ;D

Craig watched videos of areas that were not drivable, or walkable.  He is lucky that he lives in a busy area that was cleared.

From George,

Quote
But this is a good thing to participate in:

No work, no school, no shopping: A general strike to protest ICE is attempting to go national

If you're able, this is happening tomorrow.  Being retired makes it very easy to participate. ;)

When work is closed due to ice it too makes it easy to participate.  Otherwise, I really can't imagine participating when the children have already missed a lot of school.

Same goes for Bryan, can't imagine him leaving people stranded in the ER.  At least he isn't scheduled for today.

Something is seriously wrong with the home page for the notes. I've alerted the media - or maybe it's just me.

It is fine now.

This morning I've got to go down to the road and see if I can chip away and clear any of the massive snow piled up around the mailboxes. Two of us whose mailboxes are on the same pole (I'll take a picture) are not getting mail delivered because the USPS driver can longer reach the boxes from across the snow bank.

Anyone got a flame thrower I can borrow?

Oh no!

DR JANE Dennis the Smart Car didn't start yesterday - so if I go out I will drive Petey the PT Cruiser because it did!

I only wanted to know which car you prefer to drive, not which car you are able to drive in this weather ;)

Fortunately, I was just told that someone did chip away at it and it looks like the mailboxes are reachable from the USPS truck now.

Happy to hear that, but sad that I didn't get the picture of it!  :)

I am feeling under the weather this morning. Yesterday afternoon and evening were poor health periods for both Stella and me.

Hope you and Stella both feel better quickly, Larry!
