NEW DEAR READERS

Bruce Kimmel Photograph bk's notes

Well, dear readers, I had to finally get new dear readers and by that I mean new reading glasses. My old ones were 1.25 – new ones are 1.5. The old ones just weren’t happening anymore. So, I am now wearing my new spiffy readers and I can actually see the words I’m typing and that is a good thing even if what I’m typing is not earth shattering or amusing or even coherent. Speaking of coherent, I did get seven hours of sleep. Once up, I answered e-mails, made a frozen pizza by putting it in the over at 400-degrees and cooking it, ate it – not so good but not that big – basically like a small Marco’s pizza – then I dozed off, I finally got the shipping tube and went to the mail place and got the package shipped, came home, never had chance to call Muse Margaret, then put gas in the motor car, went to CVS and got some Claritin-D and these here new dear readers, then stopped at Gelson’s and got some shrimps, cocktail sauce and also some bagels, cream cheese and lox for today’s food. I came home and ate the shrimps, and they were very good and basically are free calories. I had some telephonic conversations, watched some irritating YouTube videos, and that was really about it. Or was it really about that? Who can remember such things? Not I.

Today, I’m supposed to hear more about the avatar issues, which basically has to do with the original coding of the board, some of which auto changed when we got on the new server. Hopefully they can get it straightened out today. I’ll try to be up by eleven at the latest, I’ll do whatever needs doing, I’ll have lox and bagels for food, but I shan’t eat the food in the nude because that would be crude and rude and would give me attitude about being lewd. I’ll call Muse Margaret and run the few things, fixes-wise, that I need her opinion on, then I’ll try to get the book to the blurbers. Then I’ll mosey on over to the theater at around six-twenty and we’ll run the three little changes we’re putting in for the final two weeks. I think tonight is light and tomorrow is a bit better, but Sunday is fine. I think we’re fighting the Olympics, frankly. I’ll stay for the whole show, just to see how the changes work, then I’ll come home.

Tomorrow, I’m sending all the Sherman Brothers stuff for approval and hopefully that will come quickly and we can announce it next. We have another foreign cast album coming, but I’m getting a few bonus tracks for it that will fill it out nicely. Then I’ll go to the theater and do the curtain speech and decide whether to stay or go. Same for Sunday. This coming week is all book stuff.

Well, dear readers, I must take the day, I must do the things I do, I must, for example, be up by eleven at the latest, do whatever needs doing, eat, have a call with Muse Margaret, get the book to blurbers, mosey on over to the theater, see the show, then come home. Today’s topic of discussion: It’s Friday – what is currently in your CD player and your DVD/Blu and Ray/streaming player? I’ll start – nothing. Your turn. Let’s have loads of lovely postings, shall we, whilst I hit the road to dreamland, happy to have new dear readers so I can actually see what I’m typing.
