I wonder if Olivia Newton-John ever ate a fig newton.

TOD:

Stephen Schwartz
Andrew Lloyd Webber
Rodgers and Hammerstein
Lerner and Loewe
Kander and Ebb

Wonderful choices! (Although Rodgers and Hammerstein has been done). I would add:

Boubil & Schonberg
The Gershwins
Rodgers & Hart
Bock & Harnick
Cole Porter
Comden & Green
Lionel Bart
Meredith Willson
Leonard Bernstein

And Jerry Herman, don't forget Jerry Herman!

Another suggestion for the TOD:  The Notes in the style of the writers of GREASE

The last season of Leave It To Beaver is on ME Tv now......probably my least favorite.  Beaver is more of an annoyance than fun.

The last season is your least favorite season, or the show in general?

DR Iris, there was no wildlife. It's so dry here the birds have moved on.

Doing fine, post-vax. But there was something slightly different in the way she jabbed me yesterday, and I have to think that that "variable" has much to do with how we feel, or don't feel, soreness later. My arm was definitely "tender" during the night, and is still that way. It's no biggie at all, but it's noticeable. I often don't feel anything after a jab unless I literally press on the site, and that's definitely not the case this time.

Drove by BJ's yesterday, and noticed that the price of gas which had been stable at $2.54/$2.69 for MANY WEEKS with only a penny or two variation, had suddenly shot up to $2.61/$2.76.

I watched three movies on Classico last night:

Giant of Metropolis
Duel of the Titans
The Misadventures of Merlin Jones.

There are indeed NO commercials, no sign up, just search your Roku apps and download.

Not sure how they show Disney movies and lots of musicals....weird.  I guess I will enjoy it while it lasts.

The first two peplum movies were in W I D E S C R E E N and had the best prints I had ever seen.

Super bizarre unsold comedy pilot starring that great comic actor Pat Boone.

DR Iris we had quail in Ashland.  We called them the stupid birds because they would run across our long dirt road right in front of our cars.  We found the large family groups very sweet and enjoyed watching them.

Yeah he’s unpleasant. And it didn’t help they were making him act like a six-year-old even though he was like junior high age.
