I'm a little bored of berries right now, salads, too, but that's probably what I should have.

I wish I'd get a 50% of UberEats thing - but we haven't had one in ages.

Thank you, DRs Freddie, Vixmom, Singdaw, and Jane for the kind words about our scuttled holiday plans.  The girls have one present to open (not from us, alas) on Christmas morning that I hope to witness on video chat.

I gather you have all of the gifts from you.  It will be like a second Christmas once you see them.

Our major gift to them is paying the hefty public library fee that’s required because they live outside the city limits.  But, yes, we do have pretty wrapped packages to open, too.

Sunday morning greetings.  Apropos to this $&%@ year, we’ve cancelled our trip to Illinois for Christmas.

Noooo!! :(

Alas, yes, DR George  :'(

I think the A Broadway Christmas album came out really well and it's the one I play at all the Dos, softly in the background. I get quite a few messages from folks every Christmas saying it's their favorite. A Hollywood Christmas, while not quite as successful for me, also has some really good tracks on it.

I like Sandy’s and Brent’s holiday albums, too.

The main gift is a great gift.  I'm still amazed they need it.  A few pretty wrapped ones will be perfect after Christmas.

Turns out, I HAD a 40% off coupon for UberEats - so, after ponderous thought, I ordered from LaLa's Argentine Grill. Haven't been there in over a decade, maybe more. Used to go all the time. Prices have doubled since the last time I was there, that's how long it's been. I ordered a chicken breast champignon thing - a light cream sauce and mushrooms sits atop the chicken. Comes with a little salad. As I said in my Yelp review back in the day - I always lose weight when I eat at LaLa's.

Here’s a story you may have heard from me before, but I was able to tell my full version finally after a Birmingham reporter had botched it some time ago. If you don’t want to read, you can also listen to my expanded audio version linked at top.

This is a Hallmark card commercial, like the tear jerker ones years ago.  Thank you for the wonderful story.

I sent it to Keith.  Knowing I probably only read the article and had not listened to it, he said I needed to listen and complimented your voice.  He was right, it was even better.  I usually prefer reading vs struggling to hear every word said.  It was not a problem for me at all and it was wonderful hearing your voice.

I made enough for the kids at church, plus some to give to my neighbors. And now I'll still have a bunch left over.  I will take them Christmas Eve and let anyone take them.

The saguaro with lights looked better in my mind. I think the electric lines needs to swoop, and there need to be fewer lines.

The little neighbor girl came over with a large cup, asking for flour.  I'm looking forward to giving them their Christmas gift of baking equipment. I'll probably need to give them more flour, too.
