Well, you've read the notes, then notes did wend, and now it is time for you to post until the wending cows come home.

Because I slept so poorly Saturday night I was completely fried last night by 7:00. I was in bed by 7:30, and I slept very well. Thatch's new game, beginning aropund 3:00, is to jump onto the bed and run at a fast clip up to me, throw himself onto his side and cuddle next to me. Once I've gone back to sleep, he leaves in search of the litter box or a kibble bowl so that he can, shortly after that, barrel headlong back to the bed and repeat his cuddling procedure. Annabelle, around 4:30 or 5:00, decided to crawl under the blanklets to get warn, and just before the alarm rang at 5:30, Stella decided she wanted some love and a cuddle.

I've got a day of hell or near-hell here today. Dentist in the morning, to prep for a crown, then back later in the afternoon when it's ready to be put in. And a rehearsal tonight. And waiting to hear which day (could be as soon as tomorrow) that the remaining work will be done in the house.

Naturally, with all of this and more going on, I woke up in the middle of the night and only got back to sleep a few brief times. And boy do I hate that. But that's the way I am when there's so much going on.

The kitty cuddles sound sweet, Elmore, though the person actually experiencing them might have another idea.

My new table arrived yesterday. Ann and Jen dragged the huge carton up to the third floor, where it nowsits outside in the hall. I think Jen will need to assemble it for me inside the apartment sincew I don't think we can get the assembled table into the apartment.

I loves me some good kitty cuddles. Except when I'm trying to eat and three cats descend on me to get a b it.

TOD:

Perfect Days is a movie I cannot recommend highly enough. Wim Wenders directs an Ozu-inspired story of a man finding fulfillment in his days.

Speaking of DRAT! THE CAT! casting (as the Notes were doing) - We watched the rest of season 3 of LINCOLN LAWYER, and Elliot Gould's character (as the older lawyer and confidante/adviser) was given some really interesting things to do in season 3, with his character getting some real development.
