Who knows.....I have only been in contact with the lady who asked for a copy of the script to forward to her friend.....and she doesn't respond to let me know if she passed it along or ate it or forgot about it.

So......I am guessing dead in the water.

DR RON PULLIAM a hundred miles is pretty far just to see OKLAHOMA!

Even with my friend as Curly.  They posted a short video of the beginning of the show and Curly was singing "Oh what a beautiful morning" and more than a dozen folks were greeting him and he was interacting with them....

I kept thinking "What are all these people doing on Aint Eller's farm?"

The first episode of The Bob Newhart Show in 1972 featured Penny Marshall as a stewardess.

While I remember the episode I didn't remember that it was the first episode.

Well tonight after our curtain speech - our stage manager is going to propose to an actress friend - who is NOT in our show - and it should be a wonderful moment onstage.   :-*

He is very nervous....and she is oblivious.....she has been asked to come and work in the box office because we are short on help.....

I shall have a full repor after the show....our penultimate performance.

Aww, cute.  I hope she says yes.

BK, I don't care if I'm mentioned in the Gypsy reconstruction. This is one where I am the low man on thje totem pole; Joshie and Jason Buell are running this, and I'm simply proofreading, questioning things and decisions, and cleaning up reading issues, like lyrics, wrong accidentas, note collisions, etc. I'm simply grateful to be working.

Before the pandemic, a new musical was ready to roll into production with orchestrations by Joshie and me. Since March 2020, there hasn't been a word about it.

Darn.  Hopefully, there is still hope!

DR George, I love Judy Collins. I am so jealous you saw her last night. She lives in the neioghborhood; I used to see her at Barnes & Noble when I worked there between 1999 and 2005.

That's pretty cool that you live in the same neighborhood and that you got to see her in real life (that's IRL in Internet lingo ;) )!

George, it sounds like Judy Collins did the same show there as here, I really enjoyed it and the audience loved her.

It was a sold out show here though

It pretty much was also the same format as her other concerts, but still all good performances.

If Judy C. could not remember farce, what did she substitute? Sadly "arse" is the only rhyme I can reach at this hour.

She didn't say anything at all.  She just did a little patter to give herself time to think of it and eventually got it it.
