Topic of the Day:  I can remember only one time when I was a kid I went to some school dance (and I'm not even sure about that) and I did The Hustle...I think. ::)

Most of my day was spent at the computer; I had close to 500 birthday posts to respond to,  along with several emails. Joshie arrived around 11:15 with "Everything's Coming Up Roses," and we had a nice visit. He never stays too long because of his allergies to cats. I had to get a new front door key to the set of my keys that he has, and I gave him that. Now they all work.

Yesterday morning, on her way to work, Ann stopped by tro wish me a happy day amd she told me that she and Jen were buying my birthday dinner. Jen came down  around 2:00,  on her way to walk Oscar, and we settled on a 4:30 delivery from El Mitote, my favorite Mexican restaurant since Cafe Frida closed. The meal was delicious: black bean soup, chicken enchiladas, beans ands rice, and tres leches for dessert. And a bag of chips and guacamole.

It was fantastic, but I'm afraid it may be my last Mexzican dinner: it talked back all night long, amd my body feels beat up this morning.

I'm taking it very easy today. I'll work on the song, and I need to dig out a storage carton to hold the Gypsy scores as I finish my proofs.

BK, I don't care if I'm mentioned in the Gypsy reconstruction. This is one where I am the low man on thje totem pole; Joshie and Jason Buell are running this, and I'm simply proofreading, questioning things and decisions, and cleaning up reading issues, like lyrics, wrong accidentas, note collisions, etc. I'm simply grateful to be working.

Before the pandemic, a new musical was ready to roll into production with orchestrations by Joshie and me. Since March 2020, there hasn't been a word about it.

DR George, I love Judy Collins. I am so jealous you saw her last night. She lives in the neioghborhood; I used to see her at Barnes & Noble when I worked there between 1999 and 2005.

George, it sounds like Judy Collins did the same show there as here, I really enjoyed it and the audience loved her.

It was a sold out show here though
