And my sister, her ex-m-i-l and my mom have all used him and really like him and his work, so when I'm ready, I'll have him do the work.

It's all mostly cosmetic, so there's no rush to get it done "NOW!" :)

But the idea of using (old, otherwise unwanted :) ) books for the shelving is kinda cool!

Tonight and tomorrow are my nights to play the Spitfire rehearsals.

That will be interesting and fun.

Hope you have a great time, ChasSmith!

TOD: My favorite flavors are the cookie ice creams, Vanilla with Cookie Dough and Cookies and Cream.

Ditto to all of these! ;D

This sounds incredible.  Like Tony must have felt hearing the name Maria for the first time!

Nolly episode 3: if you ever wanted to see Helena Bonham Carter tackle another Sondheim role, she gets the role of Rose in Gypsy. And we get some of Rose’s Turn.

Tuesday morning greetings!

And here it is. The post-Labor Day morning that has always represented the change of seasons and the start of so many things...regardless of my age, where I'm living, and what I'm doing.

For me it’s the start of my radiation therapy.  As Green Day says, “Wake Me Up When September Ends.”

Did it begin today? How was it? I had days ranging from excellent to downright dire.

Today, my sister's handyman is stopping by to give me an estimate on what it would cost to cover the exposed boards in my kitchen, and maybe a couple of other things (if I'm able to remember what they were ::) ).

Well, I didn't know what to expect, but it was more than I expected. ::) Not a lot more, but he is a local person and an independent business owner, so I'm all for supporting that.

And you know he is reliable and does good work.

Years ago Haagen-Dazs had a delicious Coffee Heath Bar ice cream. It was a special run and they never brought it back.  They have these instead.

Yes, first treatment today.  It was very quick and they said from now on it will be even quicker.
