Every year, new foods are introduced at the State Fair. Here is one of this year's new entries:

PB Bacon Cakes

Thick-cut bacon, dipped in pancake batter, griddled and topped with peanut butter whipped cream, grape jelly, and banana chips.

Can it be made with low-calorie grape jelly?

Back from the mail place - picked up the more important of the two envelopes, and also a little package. I ordered food before I left, so it should be here shortly - a sub sandwich from the really good sub place.

Thanks for the link.  Keith does genealogy and I know he looked up where my grandmother was buried before we went there.

If he has the link for searching that cemetery, could you please pass it on? I saw searches for other Liberal cemeteries but not that one.

There are also the Western cemeteries, which you can search at https://www.westerncharitablefoundation.com/database/search/

Michael, Keith asked if you have tried billiongraves.com to search.  He doesn't use it very often.

As for a link to the Liberal Cemetery, we don't seem to have one.

Knowing she was buried in Willesden, Keith originally wrote to the United Synagogue Burial Society who then wrote back referring him to someone at the Liberal Jewish Cemetery.

Unfortunately we cannot find his communication with someone at the Liberal Cemetery.

DR RON PULLIAM the program copy has already been submitted, so it will have to be announced in the curtain speech or on a notice in the lobby......

You're sure it's too late to bury the thank-you somewhere in the credits?

Been working on The Spitfire Grill for the couple of rehearsals I'm playing next week, and it's really grown on me.

The little I know of its history and its story is that it takes place in rural Wisconsin. But prior to knowing that, the songs and the scoring said "Appalachia" to me from the get-go. They still do. Am I so wrong? I'm sure I'm not supposed to think that a "rural" sound in music is always supposed to mean it's Appalachian, but...

DR Elmore, do you know this one?

EDIT:  I've never yet seen the original movie, but will make a point of doing so.

Beautiful score.
