For anyone following the saga - the new actress was especially adept at following direction and blocking and her character was en pointe.....without wearing pointe shoes.

The actress in the hospital left a message that I found when I got home.  She has been released but she is on two weeks home restriction so she has to leave the show.

I immediately offered the other part to the pointe actress, though she has yet to accept.

Excellent news regarding the new actress.  I hope by the time I catch up I will have read that she accepted.

I certainly enjoyed her appearance on the Donald O'Conner Show - an afternoon talk show that was on for about a year....

She was mostly surly.  Her husband was on trial for dodging the draft and she was having troubles of her own.  She wouldn't talk to O'Conner and snapped dumb answers....and finally said:  "Why do you care?  Just asked the stupid questions someone wrote on the cards for you."

And O'Conner looked at her for a moment and then said:  "Okay, sister, I'll ask you.  How does it feel to be up the river?"

The look on her face was priceless...

I wanted a refrigerator like DR GEORGE has, but it's too big to fit in my refrigerator space......

We have a problem finding refrigerators that we like that fit into our space.

Rodzinski, have you seen the Japanese movie Departures? I cannot recommend it enough. Here's a link to one of Roger Ebert's reviews:

I must see this!

Absolutely!

I wanted a refrigerator like DR GEORGE has, but it's too big to fit in my refrigerator space......

I had to take out cabinets next to and above my old fridge to be able to fit in the new fridge...but I had the cabinets to remove.  That's not always an option.

We have cabinets we could have removed when we moved it, except I didn't want to lose the space.  At times I wish I had agreed to moving them.

Oh, oh.  Just the notices?  Were you able to set up new delivery dates or have them delivered to a friend?

Middletown Lyric Theatre, the community theater I co-founded with Jim Martin 46 years ago, is folding. I am proud of its long run.

They hung in there for a long time, for sure.  I’m very sad.
