I have never watched Hyacinth Bucket, so I don’t know her husband. A black hole on my part.

I got JB off to the Tweet Suites. I mopped the kitchen floor and vacuumed. I finished packing. I showered. My ride to the airport should be here in 5.

Shelley Duvall has died. Loved her 3 Women and so many Altman movies as well as The Shining. Loved her take on fairy tales and fables.

Hyacinth could be my mother's sister Jean.

Duvall apparently lived up the road from San Antonio in Blanco, the first city to the Northwest of here.

DR George, Bruges is the English spelling and Brugge the Flemish spelling

Ah.  Thanks for the clarification. :)

I just came across this article:

Shelley Duvall, Robert Altman Protege and Tormented Wife in ‘The Shining,’ Dies at 75

The versatile actress, also memorable in 'McCabe & Mrs. Miller,' 'Nashville,' 'Popeye' and '3 Women,' produced TV series for kids as well.

Good morning, ye merry folke!

I slept relatively well until some sneezing fits awakened me around 4:30i-sh.  After that came several more in 30-minute intervals.

Bottom line:  I am in the throes of a minor (one hopes) head cold.

How?  Well, I did go out amongst the masses yesterday for the haircut, the produce and for lunch.

Sigh.

I had to stop kitty cleanup to get to my meeting. It's pretty messy this morning: diarrhea all over the bathroom rug and floor. How gross!

Yep, all the rare Penzler books sold at Heritage Auctions in 2019 - he made 1.5 million dollars. One book alone went for over 100k with buyer's premium. And it wasn't that rare - Graham Greene's Brighton Rock.
