I think I saw and enjoyed the initial episodes of Pan Am, but I'm not certain I saw the whole season.

I watched a bit of tv and sports this evening.

But none of it was particularly newsworthy.

On Saturday we will be able to see Manchester City on NBC television at 12'30 P.M. EST.   Including Mr Jack Grealish.....

So that is something to look forward to in the morning.

I loved Pete ‘n’ Tillie. An honest to goodness movie for and about adults.

Now starting a Tod Browning movie called The Devil Doll. Script partially by Erich von Stroheim and score by Franz Waxman.

Sorry no show tonight, G! :(

Thanks, Rodzinski.  It's been quite a long time since we've had to cancel due to cold weather.

Tonight I watched Monsieur Spade, a series starring the aging Brit Clive Owen, playing the famous American detective Sam Spade, now living in the south of France. Odd — to me at least — but watchable. A French production. Mostly in English, some French with English subtitles. On Acorn and AMC.

This clip of Florence Henderson singing "The Very Next Man" from Fiorello (the clip is mis-captioned) makes me think she would have made a great Lizzy in 110 in the Shade.

I agree!  She was good. :)

Did anyone else collect these in the early 1970s?

Not I.  That was a little before my time. ::)
