Question for Bruce:

This "irritating text" person who plagues you.  Is there no way to block those texts?

It’s just about time for me to load Mikey into his carrier and go to Cat Clinic for his checkup. I need to stall for another ten minutes before luring him into it.

This has been an insane couple of days. I was called to play an emergency rehearsal last night and now the morning rush to do the cat thing. With everything else that has gone on this week, I am ready for a real ME weekend.

DR RON PULLIAM - I got the "hog trough" comment from Mr. Jed Clampett.

He was talking about a married couple from back home and declared that when it came to good manners the were the first hogs to the trough......and so for more than 50 years, I still drop it into conversations here and there.

And a fine trough it is.

Then it’s Chi-NY, to quote On the 20th Century. Except it’s Albany, NY.

DR Ron I am very sorry your MRI was so horrible, also surprised the dye didn't work.

My first MRI too was a nightmare that lasted an hour, and I had taken something to relax me.  It was the physical pain that was the worst part, and having no conception of how much time I had left in there.

I am very surprised being clauserphopic your doctor didn't prescribe something for you to take.  Nothing or completely out without an inbetween option.

My MRI times are shorter now due to better equipment, and I no longer need anything to calm me.  I can't even count how many times I have done them.

Personally I think it is best to close my eyes during an MRI, but that is just me.

DR Jeanne I also slice my bagels before freezing them.  Keith likes them whole and slowly toasts them in the oven to thaw.

This is the New London, Connecticut home of Washington Sheffield, who invented modern toothpaste in the 1870s.

Sadly, there is no plaque on it.

I find it odd there isn't a plaque on it.

DR Ron Pulliam, was this your first MRI? I'm sorry you were so stressed out.

I had one, apparently minor, MRI previously.  I don't recall what it was for, but it lasted only about 10 minutes, so I had no idea what to expect for this one.   The worst part is that no one told me what they would be doing before they did it.  They just started putting stuff on me...and it was a bit unsettling.

They should explain everything and not added to your stress.

It's a little joke, DR Jane. Toothpaste/Plaque.      :)
