After that we went to the cradle of Aviation museum so Vixdad could try out his fancy new membership card and we could watch a movie in the planetarium

I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep, thanks to endless ringing of phones. So - beware: I got an email from ATT billing saying I owed over 700 bucks on my wireless. So, I immediately got incensed because I thought maybe they hadn't cancelled the account as I asked (I do have proof, I just didn't remember). So, I figured I'd call tomorrow. The email looked super legit. Many of the phone ringers this morning were from ATT. So, I hit dial and called the number back and guess what? INDIA. He asked who I was. I said you tell me. He asked if I was and said my name. I said tell me what you want without confirming my name. He said it was about my bill. I said all the way from India - wow - this sounds like it could be real. He said are you and said my name. I said what do you want? He said this call is going nowhere. I said you bet it's going nowhere scammer and he hung up. BEWARE, you've been warned. I did a little research, too. The email scam is fairly new and looks real, but isn't. The big clew is the number they have to call - 833 area code, which is a known scammer area code. BEWARE. And the ATT call this morning? From an 805 area code, which is Calabasas up there and no, ATT would never call you from anything but a proper 800 or 877 number. They're good at this stuff, though, until you actually hear the Indian voice and then you know exactly what's what.
