Actually it was a half sheet size, I don’t think they do full sheet cakes anymore

One of the citizens in our town was the Fire Chief for NYC and was leading the rescue mission on 9/11

I just heard on the news that Utah has a group looking to ban passages in The Bible that deal with sex and other vices.

The person being interviewed said there is a group of six who have been stirring the pot in the state and have identified 94 works of literature they want censored or banned.

I figure they are all folks who never read, who vote out of fear instead of intellect, and who likely didn't go to college/university. I could be wrong, of course. They could have degrees, but they probably don't read or cannot read.

I think it's because the full sheet cakes just didn't sell. People want cakes, but they don't need a full sheet cake size, and they don't like the expense of one.

After that we picked up my mom and the three of us went to the cemetery and left flowers at my dad’s grave and at my Mom’s Dad’s grave

We have a bake shop in beautiful downtown Edgefield. They don't actually bake their own goods...the get them from a bakery in Lexington SC, which is about 60 miles away.

A slice of cake is about $8.00. A sweet roll is about $4. And none are truly very good.

Happily they do sandwiches and things at much better pricing.

If you buy a cake from QVC or some of those online sites, the cost is $60 to $80 for a 9-inch cake.

I could bake a whole slew of those cakes for that much money.

After that we went to the cradle of Aviation museum so Vixdad could try out his fancy new membership card and we could watch a movie in the planetarium
