The opened with the most raucous, driving version I've ever heard of "The Surrey with the Fringe on the Top" meandered through Dizzy Gillespie and others, and ended with "Over the Rainbow."

I saw The Music Lovers in 2009 at my favorite movie theater, The Aero in Santa Monica.

They often had cast members and directors in person for the Q and A session afterwards.

That night, Richard Chamberlain (❤️) was there.

He discussed how difficult it was for him as a gay man during his years as a famous actor in the 60’s.

He was still VERY handsome.

The movie was quite disturbing. Lots of nightmares, flashbacks, gruesome ending.

Andre Previn’s music was pretty good 😉 but I would not want to see the film a second time.

Of course, the music is all composed by Tchaikovsky.
