My other commitment today was a 75th birthday party for my friend Carolyn. It was a surprise party, but her sisters had provided logistics for both those who could be part of the surprise and those who could not. I fell in the latter group and arrived about 30 minutes after the big reveal. Carolyn was having a great time.
