Just about once a month, I get a friendly reminder from The Neptune Society.

Why would his manager post he died. I hate when people do that.

Because his wife and family reported it to his manager!!  Without a doctor's assertion of the facts!

I think it's only fair to say that they are enduring a post-surgery death watch and believed Dow had finally passed.

But....there is always that "but" until an expert weighs in.

We were seated in a corner of the restaurant with only a few other tables in it. Some time after we were eating, a lesbian couple was seated two tables away and began to make out and take selfies of it. The hostess came up with another pair of women to sit between us. No way. One woman must have recognized a woman in the other couple, because she immediately asked to be seated in the main dining area. Very funny dynamics.

The PA acted like I had booked the appointment and she wasn’t really sure why I was there.  WTF?

She asked why I hadn’t booked my appointment at the UW that she had suggested.  I told her I could not afford the appointments, nor the price of  gas to go up there.

She just starred at me like I was off my rocker.  She asked me how I expected to treat my ILD if I didn’t follow her advice.

That’s right.  My ILD.  I asked what that that was and she honestly looked at me like I was brain dead.

She said that had been telling me about that since I first came in to their office.  So, I asked about my COPD.  and she honestly said to me that my latest breath tests showed that I probably did have COPD, but the real problem was the ILD.
