Topic of the Day:  I don't recall much, if any, gremlin-like activity.  Such things may have happened, but I just don't remember. ::)

I slept well. I had one dream I remember: IU was a young attorney and the law office whereI worked happened to be the now-torn down Fisher Hall on the Miami University campus, which was the home of the theatre dept. My boss was away and she had left the case to me. I represented a privileged blond lady who ewas involved in a traffic incident.

Fisher Hall was supposedly the most haunted building on the Miami U campus.  It had been built in the 1860s as a private girls' school, later became a sanatorium. When the university took it over, it was a men's dormitory. By the early 1960s it had become the theatre dept. I was theretwo years as an undergrad and spent my first year as a grad assistant there before the dept. moved to the new theatre in 1970. Everyone had stories of ghostly experiences.

The only dream from last night I can remember is that DR Ron Pulliam was trying to sell me a knockoff Star Wars DVD.

What?  Absurd!  I don't do knock-offs.  Harrumph!

All day yesterday "felt like" Thursday.

It follows that today will "feel like" Friday.

Ah me.

Ugh. We’re only getting one to two inches, but it looks like a total mess. I don’t expect it to be a fun cleanup.

Do restaurants still have chop suey on their menus?

I watched the How to Succeed movie again last night and appreciated it way more than I had a few weeks ago. But now I’m much more familiar with the material, and it’s so great that they retained those several members from the Broadway cast. If only they had retained those couple of songs as well.

I’d forgotten that Robert Morse had done a reminiscence for the Twilight Time release. It’s a worthy contribution, as is Michele Lee’s, though hers is more general.

I don’t think so, but I love mentioning chop suey whenever an opportunity presents itself, just to enjoy people’s reactions.

I wish there was something - other recordings, film clips, anything - on Bonnie Scott, the original Rosemary. Interesting vocal quality.

Today is Thursday.  Someone is coming to look at the big house at 1 p.m.

We shall see what we shall see.

Yesterday I called the Insurance company and let them know we sold the cars so that we can get a refund on the next 7 months of coverage we don't need.
