I would certainly have had Cheez Whiz at some point in my youth, but nothing in particular about it comes to mind. The only thing interesting about it, in my opinion, is that I believe the authentic Philly cheesesteaks in, you know, Philly, are made with it. If that's true, then I downed plenty of Cheez Whiz during my visits to the area when we had an office there years ago. God, I loved those. I never get one anywhere else because I always assume it'll be a pale imitation of the real thing. Except for one year in L.A., when one of the real chains (I believe it was called Philly Steaks) opened a store in Hollywood. This would have been in 1987 or 1988, and it was located in the Sunset/La Brea area. I'm thinking it didn't last too long, but what a taste of heaven.
