CHEEZ WHIZ

Well, you've read the notes, the notes ruminated on the Cheez Whiz, and now it is time for you to post until the Cheesy cows come home.

I did sleep rather well, surrounded by Annabelle and Thatch, my guardian angels. Annabelle's been having bad allergy issues and not eating, so I thought I'd treat her with mild does of Benadryl for Children, which arrived yesterday. I haven't opened the bottle yet, but she ate this morning and I haven't heard a sneeze out of her.

I still think Donald Trump is the most embarrassing thing in the history of the U.S.

DR Jeanne, your ring-around-a-rosy with that scheduler and Covid test is ridiculous. I almost had the wrong bone scan because of assistants who think they know more.

As soon as Kitty Cleanup is over, I need to check stock on orchestration paper and get to work. Liz Callaway is the guest artist for the Sept. 16 event.

DR Jrand70, I am so sorry that your melancholic about the demise of Joseph and that Dream Coat, and I hope to hell that You Can't Tale It With You provides a positive antidote to that melancholy and proceeds with no cancellation.

That Jodi Arias case pops up on TV more than I would have expected. I guess it's too good a tale of demented stalking.

I would certainly have had Cheez Whiz at some point in my youth, but nothing in particular about it comes to mind. The only thing interesting about it, in my opinion, is that I believe the authentic Philly cheesesteaks in, you know, Philly, are made with it. If that's true, then I downed plenty of Cheez Whiz during my visits to the area when we had an office there years ago. God, I loved those. I never get one anywhere else because I always assume it'll be a pale imitation of the real thing. Except for one year in L.A., when one of the real chains (I believe it was called Philly Steaks) opened a store in Hollywood. This would have been in 1987 or 1988, and it was located in the Sunset/La Brea area. I'm thinking it didn't last too long, but what a taste of heaven.

I think the script of Annie should be revised. This would be just a simple global cut-and-paste job, replacing every "Aw, gee..." with "Aw, Cheez Whiz". Don't you think that would be a nice change?

I have to go in search of score paper among the piles of papers in the apartment. I hope it isn't like the seven layers of Troy.
