Welcome to rational Mercury (in emotional Pisces) squaring off against powerful Mars (in restless Gemini). There’s a whole lot of conflicting cosmic energy converging now, so when people try to rush you to make decisions, this aspect leads you to feel irritable and even hostile, which isn’t a good look for you.

The thing is, irrational thinking can lead to much more than just little annoyances—when pushed to make decisions during this aspect, it can result in taking dangerous risks and coming to very unhealthy conclusions. If you can take a break to collect your thoughts before signing important papers or answering someone’s urgent life-altering question, that would be great.

To anyone who has never had a prostate biopsy, I hope to hell you never do!

I was told it was similar to a colonoscopy, so I figured at most I would be out of there in four hours after the procedure.  Well, it ain't.

I got to the hospital around 10:15, checked in and waited for maybe 15-30 minutes to see another lady to pay my $300, give her my contact info for pickup, and sign a lot of releases.  Then I had to wait for a room afor over 30 minutes - thank God I brought a book! - once I was naked and all of my clothes and belonging were in a huge plastic bag, I was told there was a delay.  Both Drs Glickman and Yamany stopped by to answer questions and offer advice, as well as the anesthetist, they finally put me into a wheelchair and took me up to the operating room.  There, the doctors, anesthetist, others assisting, and I had a series of discussions on how the hell to get a cripple with no balance out of a wheelchair and onto a small table and into foot stirrups.

I kept saying give me the anesthesia and, when I'm unconscious, you can have your way with me.  That didn't work, but they finally got me onto the table and the painful ordeal of the stirrups and positioning me.  Then they knocked me out.  When I came to in recovery, it was 4:30, and I couldn't be released until I proved my bladder worked and I needed no catheter.  Dr Glickman stopped by and told me that it all went well, I peed, and they released me.  My poor friend Jason had been waiting for me since 3:30.

I had to see my surgeon today, but it was uneventful. Traffic was relatively light -- this is LA, so emphasis on "relatively" -- I found parking on the street (MUCH cheaper than the parking garage), and the meter even had 50 minutes on it! The doctor and I had a nice little chat about the next procedure and the nurse supplied even more paperwork.

I treated myself to two comfort food tacos afterwards.

I should like to lodge a complaint.

Shortly after waking up this morning, I was still lying in bed when I suddenly sneezed. The sneeze seemed innocent enough, just a brief early morning allergy type of thing. But a minute later I sneezed again. Then another moment went by and I sneezed a dozen times.

Stumbling around getting coffee and whatnot, another dozen sneezes. And then another dozen. I continued blowing out all the excess STUFF in my nose and finally got it under control, and began to feel "dry" again. But that was an hour ago and let's face it, you're never dry until you're really and truly dry. If you catch my drift. I'm still sneezing occasionally, and my sinuses feel like the whole thing could go up in flames at any moment.

So it's a crappy allergy day, right out of the blue. Yesterday was beautiful. We had windows open airing out the jernt all afternoon, with not so much as a sniffle. Last night we turned the heat back on and everything's back to normal inside the house except for my horrible NOSE.

Ugh! Poor you! I've been sneezing daily for the last week or so, but nothing like that.

Allergy-begone vibes!

I called out of work today...last night started feeling "off"

This morning I was feeling shaky, exhausted and a slight heaviness in my lungs...hopefully this is just a delayed to the vaccination.
My boss said he felt similarly after his and recommended a day of rest and hopefully I'll be back to myself tomorrow.

Rapid recovery vibes to Vixmom!

For two days in a row I have received a phone call from "The Legal Department....." and "within seconds of receiving this call"....I am supposed to do something "or else".....I never wait for the end of the call before I hang up and block the number....

So if I disappear in the next few days - just know that those calls were real.

Presumably they want money. Such slimebags.

The last hour after feeding that cats was pure hell. Annabelle pulled a Stella, climbed from the file cabinet next to the computer table onto the CD case and brought down all the books onto the printer.  After screaming, yelling and throwing things at her, I had to pull the table out, put everything back, only to find out that the process had unplugged the WiFi modem.  I had to pull the table out, crawl around, untangle cords till I found the plug I needed, insure everything was back up and running, and put the table back.  I had planned on a quiet night reading my post-op instructions and doing little.

A nap sounds nice, but it's too late in the day for that.

I cleaned up the cats' dinners, reheated my soup, and poor little Annabelle keeps coming up to me to see if I'm still angry.  I held her and cuddled her, so I think she's happy.  Nothing I threw in her direction struck her, I'm happy but embarrassed to report. I do love her, but when she and Stella start romping, I never know what the hell will happen.

I am having my soup and going to bed.

Today Keith & I both received texts from the state informing us we are now eligible to be vaccinated.  Hmmm, I think they are a bit behind schedule.
