Finally, a pretty good night's sleep. I had this strange dream that I was driving back to Miami University for a prodiuction, and I had forgotten my work kit of pens, tape, music paper, rulers, etc. There was some nonsense as well about a ballet benefit, with each "group" responsible for the music for a sequence. My group was responsible for Delibes' wonderful Variations on a Slavic Theme from his ballet Coppelia.
There were a lot of friends in the dream, but I only remember now my late Middletown friend Rick Snelling, an AIDS victim from the 1980s, who moved to Florida shortly after I moved to New York, and Wade Russo, one of Goodspeed's musical directors.
