This mornings smoothie was almond milk, a banana, a golden kiwi and a dozen strawberries

DR ELMORE my guess for Herman's squeeze in A STUDY IN TERROR is the muscleman Chunky who moves the cow carcasses around - Terry Downes....  He was a former professional boxer.

That was my suspicion.  Either he or the actor playing Michael Osborn.

I've been watching John Lewis' funeral.  Jennifer Holiday's screams vocal utterances sent me hurrying from the room till they were over. I will never be a fan of that vocal style. I don't find it musical, involved, or sincere.

I have reached Louisville. I was in the car for about 18 hours. J.B. is still alive. Though that was a close call. He really doesn't like the dark and squawked loudly for about 3 hours.

Darn my eyes.  I missed this post & was worried about you.  I am very glad you and J.B. survived.

Jane these are the veggie burgers I’m eating

Thank you for the link.  They look very good.  I will add them to my Costco shopping list.  Did you find them in the freezer section?

No they were in the fresh meat section.  They are very nice with my veggies stew qnd the sunflower seeds gives it a nice crunch.  I'm very happy with them, much to my surprise

God, I love Barrack Obama! He was really impressive today.  Then, again, maybe it's just that he has class and can speak in sentences, which are two things the Fat Orange Slug will never achieve, not for all the gold-plated toilets in Trump Tower.

I have to take the recyclables to the basement but I need to get a sleeping Annabelle out of the trash bag and I hate to disturb her.

So you know:

You’ve got a lot on your mind, but you’re not quite sure if you’re ready to share it with the world. When Mercury is opposite expansive Jupiter, you tend to overthink and overcommit, and when the end result is less than you hoped for, you question your own plans, ideas, and even beliefs.

At the same time, the Mercury-Neptune trine stimulates your creativity and imagination, but the details tend to get eclipsed by the big picture. Your dreams and fantasies take center stage, further clouding your vision about what’s real and what’s only in your head.

I've been watching John Lewis' funeral.  Jennifer Holiday's screams vocal utterances sent me hurrying from the room till they were over. I will never be a fan of that vocal style. I don't find it musical, involved, or sincere.

Agree. I guess it’s an extreme form of gospel? It’s something I don’t get at all.

Mom left the room for the same reason. I, on the other hand, found her exceptionally moving. May have to google videos to watch her again.

I'm up, I'm up - we had one additional aftershock.  I went back to bed around six-fifteen so I guess I got six or seven hours of sleep.

I wasn't a fan of the continually tinkling piano arpeggios and organ continuo, either.  Sometimes simpler is more.

I guess it's the exaggerated mouth choreography that bothers me when we get singers like JH......but a style is a style I guess.....she seems to like flat notes a lot.

Barnum is happy that the windows are open and he can hear his cousins singing outside.....he is also singing in his outside voice....

From the attic in his cage he can see outside......

The website does not show how much protein is in them.  If it isn't much I might not buy them.
