Well, I've been at work for FAR too long, so I'm leaving and heading out. I need to stop off at the local Mud Bay Pet Store and get some cat food for my niece's new cat (I forget his name). He wouldn't eat any food that my niece has, so I brought over one can of everything that I had, and one Ziploc baggie of the dry stuff that I give Neve. He gobbled up the dry, so I'm going to get some more of that. I don't remember what it is, but I remember what the bag looks like, so I have to get it.

There are signs all over that say effective March 1 it will be illegal for retailers to provide single use plastic bags on New York State

I somehow missed hearing anything about this law, although for the past couple of years my county has imposed a 5 cent fee for every plastic bag
