Glad to see that DR Elmore's making progress, even though it's an agonizingly long wait.

Last night's opening night was very well attended and the audience enjoyed the show.

There were a few NEW bumps and jumbles....but I am pleased for the most part.

And here are our leading man and leading lady.....

Glad to hear it went well. And, yes, it's a fine photo.

My Kindle rehearse was not wasted.  My brother needs to get a new Kindle & asked my opinion on the Paperweight.  I told him to get the Oasis.  I won't be surprised if he gets the Paperweight considering he doesn't use it very often.

Umm...Jane?  It's a paperwhite, not paperweight. ;)

I thought I had corrected it. ;D

You may have. Some spellcheckers are VERY persistent.

John G, I had never heard of cookbook-writing classes. But why not? And it's always a compliment to be asked to speak.

I tried out a new massage therapist today. She's an acupuncture student at the school where my acupuncturist teaches and she's been doing massage for ten years. She did a good job. It's difficult to book with my regular therapist, Erik, at times, and Katy's close by. Hopefully, her schedule will be more open.

Jane, the October edition of Life Extension magazine has an article on using clove extract to lower blood sugar. It significantly lowered fasting glucose for both diabetic and prediabetic patients. The article also mentioned maqui berry, which I've been taking to help with my dry eyes. (It does help.) Apparently, it helps lower blood sugar, too. Maqui berry is also available in a powder, which you can put into smoothies.

I've been watching the sixth season of ELEMENTARY. I'll probably watch more of that.

The kitties just had their 7:00 treat, and I'm getting ready for bed.  I'll watch PBS until 9 and then turn out the lights.

I am glad you were pleased with her.  As a student does she charge less?

Just before I left to do stuff, I saw that the Indiegogo funds had posted to the bank, so that's done and hopefully the balance will come sooner than later.

I had a breakfast burrito for the meal o' the day, did stuff, picked up an envelope but no packages, did some banking, and then came home.

And for the last three hours I made the Indiegogo list and we'll start shipping on Monday that which needs to be shipped.  It's very convoluted as some people got multiple items, but we'll be careful about it and get it done.

I just bought Fosse/Verdon for my library.  I didn't realize that it was officially released last month.

Has anyone else seen it?

Not I.  What's it about?

When it starts out The main character is a recent widow.  She has one grown son who has a really dim girlfriend, the gf's mum is an absolute b*****, her inlaws are old miserable things, her brother in law is involved with a very rich, very pretentious divorcée, and her husband's best friend is secretly in love with her.

The only really nice people are Mum and the man who loves her.

The rest of them are all selfish and unaware nitwits
