WALKING THE WALK

Well, you've read the notes, the notes walked the walk and talked the talk, and now it is time for you to post until the walking and talking cows come home.

Here is a Possible Topic of Discussion for a lazy day of posts:

What movie do you strongly dislike, that apparently every other person in the entire free world (plus Latvia) simply loves?

And if that doesn’t grab you, try it in reverse... a movie you love that everyone else strongly dislikes.

If you like, you can answer both, but please make them two posts instead of one.

I will. A few I remember really disliking that others loved:

Apollo 13

I've seen SPLENDOR IN THE GRASS 2-3 times, but not for many years.

When it first came out, I was 20-years-old, and it did have an emotional effect on me.

I don't know how I'd feel about it if I watched it again today.

Sometime this coming week, I am going to lose the use of my computer for approximately two (2) weeks.

 :'( :'( :'(

I have been informed that my Mac model has a major problem that can only be repaired by shipping the computer direct to Mac headquarters.

 >:( >:( >:(

I have an older model Mac that might give me some internet access, but I won’t be able to send or receive e-mail from it, and I’m not sure how well I will do with it on this site or Facebook.

I have literally a couple of minutes to spend here this morning with preparing for the final performance of PIPPIN -- which, by the bye, is to be attended by a Mr. Schwartz, not that has anything to do with it.

So did I survive my first PIPPIN last night? I did, and I can only hope PIPPIN survived me. Today should be fun, and I shall at least briefly attend the cast partay afterward.

It's great to be able to see the bright side!

I was never conditioned for it.  Until this cyberstalking thing started so suddenly by (I'll disguise the names) Bonkers' videographer Mr. Jonathan Crank  in Feb 2011,  I never had the kind of  adversity to have to stand up for anything of much importance, so never got conditioned to look for a bright side in an undeserved bad situation.

I certainly never was used to lawyers like their Elliot Brown that just flat-out lie, but try suing a law firm.

They seem to say that if you protest what their client Bonkers does illegally even a peep louder than the scofflaw retaliator wants, then you (the retaliation victim) are the bully.

I did bring grievance complaints against two of the lawyers involved, and the copy of the legal answer to one of them at Elliot's firm brought out a wealth of information at the beginning of this May that I never would have imagined.

They have a strange view of what being harassed by emails, for example. Elliot's partner Neil Rosini referred to a "barrage of about 20 emails from February to May " - which sounds horrifying until you realize that's 20 emails in over 14 weeks, less than 1-1/2 per week.  That's a Princess Winnifred "Princess and the Pea" sensitivity to being harassed by getting emails to feel barraged by less than 1.5 emails per week while there's an open matter going on.

Enjoy Skip's songs.  Otherwise, remember that it was all very quickly aged down to pre-school.  I'm not sure what to make of Quasi wanting his own appearance to be overlooked, but he falls for the most beautiful lady in town.

It feels like people onstage who are overweight asking for fairness in equal casting on stage or screen for overweight people, yet the person they are married to and fell for is in great shape - so that's what they favor and maybe don't get that viewers might feel that way to with who they see onstage.

At the time it was released "Blow-Up".
"Titanic" I didn't hate it until the ending.  Up until they it was kind of ok.
