Der Brucer was in his room tonight, watching/listening to American Yodel so that I wouldn't have to pay it any bother. Problem was, he had the volume set just loud enough that I could still hear much of the show. It sounded to me, most of the time, like someone was pulling a bow back and forth on the ol' cat gut. Unfortunately, the poor cat was still attached.

Oh the things I learned about DARK SHADOWS - oh the humanity. Very interesting. I am glad I finally purchased this DVD which will satisfy my DS curiosity for quite awhile.

It is cold here AGAIN. So we get a dusting of snow.

Der Brucer has been busy with other areas of his life. He still has strong connections to Southern California and the political people he used to work with. I keep him up to date about the goings-on around here.

We saw a couple of Allison Hayes Mexican lobby cards at the Courts show, although I can't remember what movies they were from.

JRand54, I do not see the resemblance.

I have been watching a very strange production of MACBETH with Ian McKellen and Judi Dench based on a 1976 RSC production. It's rather claustrophic and, while I would not say it's my favourite version of MacBeth, it has some really wonderful stuff in it...the witches, the Banquo scene, Dench's "Out damn spot" speech...
