It rained all day in Tampa and continued to rain when we boarded the ship, although I am sure that flies in the face of all Holland America TV commercials!

It was raining so hard that during the water-logged muster drill, they allowed frail me and companion, Ken, to wait out the drill indoors.

Tonight we are out to sea, and it remains rainy, but the seas are very calm — so far.

Fortunately, I was able to watch the Pro Bowl in one of the bars, and even more fortunately I was unable to watch RENT.

I have read about the green book, not the movie, and look forward to seeing the movie about it.

I only heard about the Green Book from Antiques Roadshow.  I think a couple of people had them valued.  Not incredibly valuable, but historically important.

That would have been interesting.  I belive there was also a Jewish version of the Green Book.

But considering the weather, I might as well be home in Washington.

Oh no.  Is the sea rough?   Vibes the weather improves.

POSSIBLE SPOILER TO A STAR IS BORN!

I have a friend with a daughter who has attempted suicide 3 times now.  Today she posted on facebook how much she enjoyed A Star is Born until the ending.  She asked for friends to please warn her if there is a suicide in a movie.  I have not watched any of the versions of this film because of the alcoholism and suicide.  With 3 remakes it surprised me there are people out there who do not know what the story is about.

That's terrible about your friend's daughter.  It's great that she survived, though.

Yes.  Once again she is in an excellent place for treatment.  I just hope this time she suceeds.  She was good for such a long time before this last setback.

You're right.  The broadcast started at 8:00 and ended at 11:00.  I'm now recording the show onto my DVD burner from my Comcast DVR.
