He's on his third year here, and the rental management will not provide healthcare for him, and they are probably not providing it for the many supers on their properties. What really was surprising, since i asked him, how many tenants gave him a Christas bonus for the great job he does, was that he estimated he only received a bonus from maybe 25 tenants out of the 80+ apartments he supervises. That's really insulting.

OMG, everything about the news about Val is shocking. And disgusting. What a shitty management company they are, if that's how they operate. And of course it would be sad, regardless, losing Val. Horrible news, and I'm sorry to hear it, DR Elmore.

For the love of God, does almost no one entering a thread ever scroll back just a little bit to see what's already been asked and responded to, before adding their repetitious and utterly useless post that duplicates a hundred others?

On one site, we called that "being on Write Only" -- meaning, you'd enter a new thread and start mindlessly posting without informing yourself where the conversation was. It was considered a negative thing, not good "netiquette", and was highly discouraged. (It was a small site, where you could actually discourage stupid behavior.)

So, one day while writing the BBQ book, I ate st 8 different joints, including my favorite in the state. I ended the day with the most delicious BBQ crabs, six on a plate. I cleared every last one of them, they were so good.

TOD: At the Painted Horse Restaurant in Florida, where it was "all you can eat" and they didn't make it difficult to order more or stay as long as we wanted. It must have been in the 1960s or 1070s because both my grandparents one my mom's side were both still with us.
