Half an hour ago I declared this a Benadryl Day, for relief of some slight but annoying nose-running and eye-tearing.  Just waiting for it to take effect.  Second time within a couple of weeks, following a few months without.

Good luck with that.

Monday afternoon greetings!  It's bright and sunny here today, but still pretty cold.  I've been out for my semi-annual, no-surprises dental check-up and to have my car washed.  Home now doing some computer work on behalf of AAUW and contemplating a nap before tonight's meeting.

My walking partner and I went for a nice walk with a stop for coffee/hot chocolate and a leisurely visit.

And on a happier note:  The Secret Garden musical revival coming to Broadway

If it's based on the production that I saw in Seattle last year, I'm sure that it'll be wonderful!  I hope Daisy Eagan plays Martha again.

I hadn’t heard the movie was being released, just the soundtrack.

In my post, the words "Hello Again" are a link to the Amazon listing, which is where I bought it.  Or, you can click here:

It hurts like hell, but I just climbed three flights carrying a 13-lb carton of dry cat food!  I hope the climb helps my spine asgyst.  Or kills me.

Amazon screwed up the listing, though.  Under the Additional DVD options, there are listings from 2004 and earlier.  Those and most of the reviews are for the Shelley Long movie of the same name, which has absolutely nothing to do with this movie musical, or the original musical. :P

Ir's amazing how many nice comments the Encores! production is getting on FB today from outraged musical theatre queens who swore last May, when the season was announced, that they were canceling their Encores! subscriptions over the revue.

Are you saying Hello Again went directly to home video without any kind of theatrical run?  Predictable and when will the idiots who are putting up money for this crap ever learn?

Entered hard copy proofer's stuff, and there are things to run by Muse Margaret so hopefully I can get all that done, go to my meeting, and then enter the rest of these.

I think I'd read that it did have a "limited run" a couple of months ago, probably just for official Oscar contention.
