That's always been a worry of mine -- that I won't be able to corral the critter who absolutely must go to the vet.  We've managed it every time, but there have been a couple of uncomfortably close calls.

And the goddamned elevator is out again.

We seem to be out of order now one day out of three.

I feel very lucky to be able to post.  I left my tablet at the gym only to find it gone once I realized my error.  About an hour later , and several stops at the spa (next to the gym) and lost and found, I received a call that the spa had it.  I was be I g to get concerned that a guest had walked ofc with it and I was destined to be without my books to read.

Whew!!

I am on a roll today as I also misplaced my sunglasses.  While not as serious as losing my tablet, which I am very grateful to have back, most sunglasses are too big and uncomfortable.   Mine fit me.  I really need sunglasses in South Africa.

Well, the elevator was down at 7:30, but the servicemen had it running by 8:30.  When I returned at 12:30, the damned thing was out of service again.  God damn!

I have to catch Thatch now.

My previous cat, Ebonie, would hide under my bed if she knew that I was looking for her.  Fortunately, I only had to cancel one appointment, but I made sure that I allowed enough time to get her into the carrier.  Neve hasn't been a problem...yet.

In other news, I just became the very happy owner of some Harvey Schmidt doodles.  I must see about having them properly framed.

That will happen after the first of the year, when our local guy won't be as insanely busy as he is during the holidays.

Did the vet's office tell you this is not an uncommon problem?  Somehow they know when it is time to go to the vet even if you are sneaky and keep the carrier hidden ;D

Thank you.  Maybe I will get lucky tomorrow but I suspect they were left on the tour bus.

I hope the sea is calmer tomorrow.   It will be difficult to pack if we are rolling around, though easier than taking a shower 😄

I hope mine are waiting. I’m also glad it’s stopped raining.

I spent the afternoon at the package-wrapping table and am as done as I can be until we get out for a last little bit of shopping.  We’d planned to do it today, but Richard’s somewhat under the weather.  I won’t panic unless we don’t get it done tomorrow or Friday...

After all the crap he pulled, Thatch is now cozying up to me for my dinner.  He'd better pray there's a cancellation at the vet tomorrow and that he lives to get there.

Went to Doug Haverty's, had lunch at Jerry's Deli, picked up no packages or mail, and came home.  I listened to all the mixes again, this time taking notes, mostly for editing out dialogue here and there, or adding it to beginnings of tracks, and only a few actual mixing notes, as I like to be there for all that stuff.

Oh, and I was right about the AIP building - it was on Sunset and then later on Wilshire - good memory!  Cousin Dee Dee worked for Sam Arkoff - it was on Sunset originally, near La Brea, then in 1969 they moved to Wilshire near Doheney, which is where Modern Romance would have shot that scene.

Here's another of the Angellicle Cats Christmas promotions.  I'm afraid if Annabelle sees it, she'll want one for Christmas.
