First of all, it was a very enjoyable production.

George was terrific in all of the parts he played.

I think I liked him best as the jailer and as Mr. Pinky.

On the negative side, they had no programs.

The woman told me that they had three left at the start of the day.

[TCB]

So I had no idea who played what, or the names of the characters.

[TCB]

The actor playing Edna was very good, but I have no idea who he was.

We were sorry we couldn't get away this weekend to see it.

Also, on the negative side, the intermission was almost a half hour long.

Apparently the cast didn't know what was going on either.

It is a shame that not all of the cast members were miked, and as a result, some lines were totally lost.

If some of these unmiked actors had been near actors who were miked, it would have helped.

[TCB]

But the show is the important thing, and this show was very entertaining.

I don't know.  I was upstairs with the other actors relaxing and never took the chance to hear them.

If the young man playing Link Larkin was about 50 pounds heavier, he would have been a poster model for anorexia.  But he was very cute and he was a good singer and dancer.

I had no idea!  After today's show when I was bringing my first load of stuff to my car, a woman who worked at the theater was in the lobby with a program and I asked if there were any left over.  She said that I could have the one she had, so I took it.  I hadn't even seen it before then.

Back from a wonderfully wonderful evening - Kay did great, the audience LOVED every second of it.  For a first time performance in cabaret Kay gave herself a seven out of ten and I told her that was silly and that it was a nine out of ten and that the one that was missing was all stuff where she got in her head and relied on John to tell her where she was, just to be sure - but later she admitted she knew where she was at all times.
