What are people's plans for the three-day weekend (4-day for Ron)?

Hey Kevin, shouldn't Babs be ready to tour again soon?

I wonder if the City of Seattle could start a write-in campaign to get Ms. Streisand to perform in Seattle?

My friend, Diane, was supposed  to fly down to Phoenix tomorrow to visit her son and her granddaughter, but she came down with the crud (the flu?).

Back from a VERY long day - this will be interesting, this double duty and I'm fairly exhausted.  Rehearsal one went very well - I decided not to do a run-through but to clean up and work on the scenes and the acting.  We got about two thirds of the way through, so tomorrow we'll finish doing that and then run the show.

Rehearsal two was fun.  I gave my little spiel and we just dove right in.  This is going to be a good production, I think.  We actually got through all but five pages of act one - pretty good.

I turned Rob Berman's mother on to A Place To Call Home.  when I saw her backstage after The Golden Apple, the first thing she said was, "we have to talk about that Regina!"

We are leaving the gate. Bye

Are you home yet?

Yup.  We ate, walked, & unpacked.  We also changed the clean sheets as winter turned into summer while we were gone.  The flannel sheets were far too warm.

The doctor said that all cancer has been removed, but that I am good candidate for its return.  He is building me up for chemo starting sometime in June, so that any and ALL cells that can't be seen right now can be gotten rid of before they start to spread.

So - we start the regime.....I have lost more weight....down to 179.8 lbs - my thinnest in decades.  He told me  I looked a lot older than  I did when before surgery....so I told him his associate was better looking than he was...which made him laugh.

Thursday is follow up with the surgeon....so on we go.  Thanks everyone for asking and for sending thoughts and vibes.  It is wonderful to have people who care.

Great news about the complete cancer removal!!

~~~Continued Vibes for Jrand!!~~~
So, George is off watching people play their organs.
The organist was very good and quite funny.
I don't know how many people total ended up seeing the free concert, but about a dozen people came up to the mezzanine level (the middle balcony of three), where I was ushering.
She also had some lyrics projected onto the screen for some sing-along moments.
Damn, damn, damn!  I've grown accustomed....
No, not that.  I took a pain pill this evening and slept thru the season finale of THE FLASH.
From the last two minutes that I did catch, it looked like the end of the show forever.
Hulu apparently doesn't show THE FLASH and I don't have On Demand.
It available through On Demand.  Want a copy? :)
Barry Manilow is on tonight's The Tonight Show.  I'm recording it, but not watching it...yet.
