Feel better vibes for DR Jane!

Thank you.  I need this cough gone by Tuesday as we are seeing ALLEGIANCE.  Half the time I sound like a seal.  Walking home today I had an attack that doubled me over.

Oh, DR Jane, I'm so sorry you have such a bad cough!  Hope it goes away soon...

Thank you DR Ginny.  Shocking is how fast it went from a loose nothing cough to sounding a bit like bronchitis.

I basically slept sitting up last night which helped.

Sorry to hear about your cough, Jane.

The cough syrup I've been using says "Boiron Chestal Honey." I think you may have a slightly different formula. I wonder if the one I've been using has been discontinued. A search turns up lots of very similar products.

I went out this afternoon in search of chocolate Santas. No chocolate Santas to be found. The nearby Ralph's supermarket has had them in the past at Christmas, but not this year. The employee I asked said that the store manager must be a real grinch!

Larry, I agree about the fast forward in A PLACE TO CALL HOME. It wasn't needed and would have been better off without it.

Hmmm, I did a search here and found Boiron Chestal Cold & Cough so that is what I purchased. I will look and see what the difference is regarding the cough syrup portion.

I've returned to the show that Jane doesn't like, LONGMIRE. I find the Indian characters particularly interesting.

Back from the Haverty Christmas partay, which was fun - I was there almost two-and-a-half hours.  I did buy two extra large Dino's pepperoni pizzas and they were a huge hit - I had two small slices and that was about my food intake.

I suspect they're quite similar. The honey makes it quite sweet. Does yours have honey?

The ingredients are completely different, maybe that is why it isn't working.  On the whole I have very bad luck with homeopathic products.  I also tend to avoid honey if I have a cold or allergies.

No honey.  The sucrose makes this sweet as well.

LOL.  Have you read the books?  Do you find the actress who plays Vic either funny or that she looks like an Italian Goddess?  My brother, who introduced me to the books, told the author Keith & I couldn't watch the show because of her ;D

Look for a Lindt chocolate display, AFTER we had checked out and were leaving the market.

If I thought the actress playing Victoria were funny, or could act, I could forgive her not looking like an Italian Goddess ;)

Fascinating.  I just searched "cough syrup" again and the only mention of the cold and cough formula I purchased was when I just mentioned it.  I didn't imagine it, I copied it from the search results to my shopping list.  I don't even know if they sell the plain cough honey one. DARN!!!

Uploading music and listening to Ormandy's seventies recording of the Sibelius 5th - I'd tried out his 70s recording of the first, which had such awful low, muffled sound I nuked it immediately.  This one's better, but these 70s recordings by RCA are not a patch on the butt cheeks of the 60s Columbias.  Of course, he never recorded the 5th for Columbia so this one is it on that one.  Earlier I watched the Blu-ray of the Sibelius first symphony - that was fun as I enjoy seeing who's playing what in the orchestra.  The sound is a bit washy for my taste (you get a close-up of the clarinet player playing the opening but the sound issuing forth is more like it's from the middle of the house.  It's not bad, just not as detailed as I like - the performance itself and the conductor do a good job of it, but the more I hear the more I really think the Barbirolli set will end up being my favorite of the complete sets.
