Topic of the Day:

I think Thanksgiving will be at my parents' house with the family.  My sister said that my cousin from Oregon and his wife might come up.  We probably won't find out until they're on their way.

Having been up yesterday at 5:45am, I crashed very early last night.  My light was out before 10:30, so I probably slept about 8 hours.

I will leave here in about 75 minutes for my therapy.  I slept very poorly. but DR Ginny and Richard were in strange dream involving a hotel in something like a ski resort and a trip to a Broadway show.  Mitch Leigh's son Andrew, whom I've not seen in aboutr 30 years, was also in it; he wanted to buy five acres of land  for something, I no longer remember.

I have no Thanksgiving plans.  I want to see the Lonny Price film about Merrily We Roll Along, so I may do that on Thursday.

DR ELMORE and DR CHAS SMITH if you buy the BeActive - it is made to fit over your foot like a pair of socks and pull up to your knee.  I cut the two little bands of elastic so it became a wrap around.  Much easier to put on and it didn't effect the brace at all.

DR CHAS SMITH the sciatic nerve runs the entire length of the leg to the spine, so putting pressure on the nerve point around the knee is what helps.....or so it seems.

Very interesting, DR Jrand66.  Thanks for the info on the BeActive.  It just might get to audition here sometime.

Frankly, and not to come across as anti-social this holiday week, but I'd be just as happy joining DR Elmore at the Merrily documentary, which I absolutely have to get down there to see anyway, and call it a day.

However, this week is INSANE, and I do have some Thanksgiving obligations which include spending time with some folks we very rarely see.  And of course that's all a good thing.  So my day will be spent in the conventional way, and I must see about getting down there on one of the following days for the film.  Might even have to be Friday.  I don't know if Lincoln Center will be playing it for more than one week.

The lower back is better again this morning.

Clearly, it takes at least one whole day of Not Doing Anything Stupid for that to begin healing.  I shall continue watching it today.  I have to make one shopping trip for a few things Trader Joe's doesn't carry or was out of yesterday, but that's no biggie.
