Hmmmm Of Kings & Prophets has been canceled......after two episodes.  I guess we won't get to see David face Goliath or all the other things we were promised.....

Vixmom, thanks for Skip's recipe. It sounds wonderful. I'll make them next time. I think I have to go more traditional with this batch and this audience. Though I may add the bacon.

I think bacon sounds delicious. But then a lot of people that don't eat meat or pork wouldn't be able to eat them.

Deviled eggs are often the only thing vegetarians can find to eat at gatherings ;)

I did not see this until after I posted.  Truly, the eggs have been the only thing I could eat.

Easter Sunday greetings!  Fr. Richard is conducting Easter mass in Lima, Rob and Mary Linda just left for their church, and I'm home being Martha (biblical, not Stewart).  Well, maybe a little Stewart.  My reaction to the Mary/Martha bible story is:  "Somebody has to be Martha!"

And Martha is not usually appreciated -- until she isn't there one day.

Good morning. The breakfast went off with only two hitches: the service was much shorter than they thought it would be (although everyone was patient and chatted while we finished getting everything ready) and someone had turned off the pilot light to one of the ovens -- we planned on baking the bacon and sausage in both ovens at the same time.

DR Laura have you ever purchased Redwood yogurt?  I think it is better than the other yogurts you can purchase. I buy the plain and mix in my own fruit.

Ya got that right, DR Laura!

I didn't know that stores or Malls still had an Easter Bunny.  Around here, I think that went the way of the dodo bird.

She and her boy friend have a breath-taking view from their living room, so hopefully the sun will stay out all day.

The drive is about an hour to an hour and a half.  Another reason I am hoping for nice weather.

I'm up, I'm up - other than being up for an hour at five-thirty, I think I got nine hours.  Unfortunately at five-thirty I almost threw up (but didn't) and that really trashed my throat from coughing.  Hopefully that will go away quickly but it feels trashed right now. The Excedrin PM worked really well and other than being groggy this is the first morning (or afternoon now) that I didn't wake up with a raging headache.

BK, there's some bug going around that causes nausea and headaches. It hit me last week, I took Sambucol and thought I was almost rid of it, then it crept back. It sounds like what you have. The Sambucol DOES help, but this bug is tenacious.

Vibes you feel better soon.

I agree that the score to MY FAIR LADY is glorious. ON THE STREET WHERE YOU LIVE is brilliant, IMHO. So many other good songs. A really outstanding musical.

After reading the Notes, I was wondering why theaters use tracks at all--other than cost. JRand's situation hadn't occurred to me; I hope that pianists aren't difficult to find elsewhere.

How much does does it cost to have a real pianist and a real piano?

Today, the family is getting together at my parents' house for tacos and game playing.  I'm sure some chocolate will also be consumed, but after the tacos, not with the chocolate.

WHAT?! No chocolate tacos?? A good, ole American tradition.

We are "all volunteer" DR JEANNE - so that is part of the problem.

Tom, how is Betzy working out? I was so glad to hear that you'd found someone to help with the cleaning. Are you happy with her? Is she a keeper?

Yes. I suspect there are more people who will volunteer as actors than as musicians.
