But, at least, Gonzaga managed to lose before the start of GRIMM.

I still enjoy the series, although I guess I am in the minority.

Just too tired to watch anything.  Finally got the monologues for the musical number I've been waiting for - despite being very clear, of course they're way too long so I've made suggested cuts and also found better places for the song itself to be used.

But GRIMM is a lot better than watching SHARK TANK.

I'm so overtired and I'm seriously concerned about my voice, which, because of so little sleep this week, is weak and pretty trashed.  I've basically just got to get some decent sleep and then keep my mouth shut.

Well, I must be going.  One of my staff (Pam) is turning 70 on Sunday!  Her daughter and son have planned a surprise birthday party for her at the local restaurant, Falls Terrace.  I told the stage manager for "The Credeaux Canvas" that I might be late, but someone was able to fill in (the director will do it if I don't get there in time).  As for that, tonight is opening night!  I will get there, just not at regular call time.

Until later!

Well, I'm finally at the theater.  I was told that the first act went well.  There are about 20 or so people and they really seem to be enjoying it. :)

Pam was COMPLETELY surprised at her surprise birthday party and was very touched.  For her gift, her daughter had everyone decorate a square for a quilt and it was so cool.  Pam said she almost lost it when she saw the square that had a picture of her with her brother who just died last month.  The food was very good, the conversation was nice, and the cake that her daughter brought (not from Costco) was delish!  A good time was had by all!

What a nice surprise.  I'm glad you can be late for the theater.  Have a good evening.

Thanks, Jane!  It was a good evening...so far.  It's not over yet.

The weather bureau is saying that after a semi-rainy Sunday and Monday, we are going to have an entire week of really nice weather.

The gift with the quilt squares choked me up a bit when I read about the one with her brother.
