Monday morning greetings!  We have quite a winter wonderland outside and I'm planning to stay in today.  Still not feeling great, but at least I was able to sleep better last night.

Today is the 9th anniversary of my dad's death. I remember how grateful to HHW I as then because posting the events of the week, from arrival to deathwatch to burial kept my thinking clearl and focused.  I've been trolling through the HHW archives and pulling things I posted between 2006, when the cancer was discovered to the closing of the estate in November 2007.  Thank you, all, for your support then.

DR Elmore, you're in my thoughts today.  I remember that week very well - Richard was in Wisconsin and the weather here was awful.

Thank ypou all for the vibes! I am home from my accountant's office.  It was strange seeing that Toyland is now an office with a different purpose and business. My accountant's staff says the occupants are quiet and never seen.

And I'm getting around $3600 back. That should take care of new glasses and a new CD player, so I'm rather happy.

I'm heading over the hill to Santa Cruz today to do a little memorial for the friend that passed away a few weeks ago.   It will be quick and quiet, and then that door will be closed.  It's a complicated situation as we are "ex's" and I was deemed the "bad guy" - I'm over that, of course, but I don't think others would be.  So, instead of going to the official reception, I feel this will be the best send off.

I'm up, I'm up.  Have no idea how much sleep.  Phone rang at eight - the publisher, asking for things I'm not going to provide - every year there's something new added to the pile and when I had my initial discussion I told them I wanted to hear nothing like that this year and I was told I wouldn't.  It should all be fine now.

Facebook can come in handy when you see a conversation with your friend and another person, making plans to get together on the same day you already have plans with your friend ;D

TOD:

I doubt if I've ever seen a film with Lorenzo Lamas.

If I have, I certainly don't remember it.
He was dyed blond in the original "Grease"-- right?  If that is the case, I guess I have seen a Lorenzo Lamas movie.  I'm surprised to hear he made more than one.

Of course, I've seen the original GREASE, but I don't recall Lorenzo in it.

I did not notice a response to my question regarding "45 Years".   I keep thinking about the movie, which is a shame since I could have done without seeing it-lol

I want to see Charlotte Rampling, but I haven't seen it yet.
