Well, it was a disastrous commute for lots of people last night. There are reports of drivers being stuck on the beltway and other roads for 5 or 6 hours. The cause--about one inch of snow which became ice making for hazardous conditions.

I hope I can get a bus to the Metro (rail). If not, a cab. Only thing is I'm afraid the cab driver will plow into someone's parked car in my parking lot--it looks very slippery.

I had a very poor night of sleep, and I am pondering my day. I am going into City Center but I believe Joshie has little to no work for me today. If there's work, I'll do it. Otherwise, I'll pick up my check and head fro home.
