Excellent pictures there, TCB.

The miracles of modern technology.  The photographer shot the show last night, and this morning they were available to be posted.

Here is a nice "preview" of SECOND SAMUEL written by a local reviewer, who can't review it, because he is in the play.

I will show this to Keith.  The pics are great, especially when you are in them Tom.

So, through the miracles of modern technology, BK let me have a peek at the entire video of Welcome to My World.  It's great throughout, which should hardly be a surprise to anyone.  For me, on this viewing, there's an especially superb middle section running from the song "Note to Boys" (with signing) through the frog dissection and math scenes -- including the cell phone interruption that simply couldn't have been better.  (This video also includes the equally priceless audience response at "is the thought of that making you uncomfortable?")  Some fine guidance was evident on that stage.  Bravo to all!

I've proofed the first fifty-one pages.  The fascinating part was reading the introduction by the "writer" of the book about Mr. Bronstein.  As you know I wrote it and the first page of what follows back in October, just a rough of it.  I smoothed it out when I began three weeks ago, but in reading it I realized I completely didn't have the voice of the author character down - that didn't happen until the following chapter.  So, I made quite a few changes in the introduction, ran them by Muse Margaret and it's so much better now.

Well, it's time for me to leave work.  I'm leaving a little early because I stayed late last night.

Until later!

In less than 36 hours, the competition begins with waltz, tango, foxtrot (aka WTF in my book).

I do.  I normally don't really do any rewriting when proofing, but the intro had such blatantly wrong stuff in it that I had to.  With everything after that, it's just minor stuff because I've already gone over and over it until I'm happy, prior to moving on to new pages.

Catching up with the second act of Sweet Charity with Christina Applegate. She's not the best Charity ever, she's winsome. She earned her Tony nomination.
