I am home from the rubble of Toyland and happy to beat the rain.  Thew building super was in and removed everything he had pulled except for the photocopier.  I guess he decided against taking it.

The laundry is in the washers, and I have some Moross work to attend to.

My favorite thing about the Tony Awards is that we get to see some numbers from the current shows.  Of course, it used to be a bit more exciting.....  It is where I first heard songs from ANNIE, BLOOD BROTHERS, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, APPLAUSE, and so many more.

Usually after the Tony Awards, I had some LP buying to do.  I would like to hear FUN HOME, I think.....but how many damned times did that girl sing "Ring of Keys" or "Key Ring" or whatever the hell that lyric was....about 10 times?

Monday morning afternoon greetings!  I was out the door before 9am to go to the post office on my way to the dentist.  I survived the crown prep, but my face is still numb and I have a bit of a headache.  Think I'll try to sleep it off before attempting lunch...

The laundry is finished and I am on to No. 4 of Gentlemen, Be Seated!

Tomorrow, when Joshie and Chelsea Music remove their pickings, i will lock the Toyland doors for the last time.  whatever's left is in the hands of the Man from Philadelphia. I'm out of there.

I'm still waiting for verification of the job I said yes to, and I suspect it will happen after Thursday's new moon.  I've been asked to work on a new album by a cabaret singer, and I'm still rather desperately playing the lottery.  Something will happen, since wheels are in motion.

I'm frustrated because i am playing the waiting game and I get impatient as my funds run out.

Dental vibes for DR Ginny.

Thank you, DR John G!

Lesson for today:  If you want to sleep of your Novocain, don't drink a big cup of coffee when you get home from the dentist's office.

I enjoyed the Tonys and the hosts (I happen to love Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming).

Re: the In Memoriam.  I like Josh Groban I didn't mind that they had him sing. But I found the rest ridiculous. The names were too far back and they were going at such a fast speed. I will never understand why they don't put the photos and names as the only thing on the screen.  That made it pretty disastrous to me.

I think it was this year's Academy Awards where they finally did it right.  Even though having Jennifer Hudson sing was a bit of a misfire, the video presentation was well done.

On Wednesday, I'm getting a filling replaced.  It's been years since I've had anything like that done.

I am blocking the last scene of the play this evening....shouldn't take too long.  Of course, one of the actors has a conflict and cannot be there....
