I am pleased elmore & Chas are feeling ok today.

I said I slept well, but I do not remember saying I was feeling better!

I've contacted my doctor about an emergency appointment.

Darn I read that wrong.  I thought you weren't hurting as much as you expected to and that you were making it to PT.

VIBES!!!!

Thank you, dear! No, I'm still having the gastric problems and I have a tender spot under my left jaw that os painful to the touch.  I first thought it was an insect bite three days ago, but it doesn't seem to be that now.

My brother Randy just called me and it looks as though my brothers have finally decided to make a serious bid to sll that Ohio property. It's about time.  That is good news.

ASK BK

Is this the first time your songs have been arranged and orchestrated for a large orchestra?

No, there's Larry's chart for What Do I Do Now? on Shakespeare on Broadway, Mort Lindsay did Was It Really All That Thrilling? from Start at the Top, David Siegel did Chinese Food in Bed (although that's a smaller group) and there's the Nudie Soundtrack (about twenty-five pieces) and the songs from The Creature Wasn't Nice is a forty piece band.  Also, Lanny did an amazing chart for a song I wrote for a cable movie called The Execution of Frank Musso.  But, yes, it's an amazing thing for me to hear all fifteen of these songs with the big band, as 90% of them have not ever sounded like this.  That said, even The Lights and the Smiles sounds so different in Lanny's version - it's just fantastic.

Had a good work session, relatively short.  Still on the fence about the two solos vs. the trio so we'll see how I feel after Monday's rehearsal.  Waiting for Lanny and I'll go have a cup of soup to tide me over until Astroburger later tonight.

I am waiting to hear from my doctor.

They are finally lowering the price to a saleable amount. They've been too greedy for the past seven years

A number of houses near us sold quickly, and they all were put up at reasonable prices for the current market.

But then he would need to convert the fire escape into servant quarters, leaving me with no place to stay next time I am in NY

Once again, DR MBarnum, you are driving south on a one-way street going north.

Those two extra drawers in the new filing cabinets came in really handy today.  Makes me very happy.

Had a cup of chicken corn chowder and a nice chat with Lanny.  I told him he could join us tonight if he liked, sit in the back of the room and just make notes on his scores.  That will actually put us ahead tomorrow night when we address whatever small things he may have.

I enjoyed the file cabinet story and am glad no one is too worse for wear. I'm a big fan of recycling in general, and am always pleased when one person's trash becomes another person's treasure--or at least is able to be utilized. Kudos to Chas and Larry.
