Ask BK Day---Have you cast the New York shows?

Not really.  Our group of kids is coming in to do what they did, and I've asked RYacko to see if there's any way he could come in to do the off-Broadway show.  Maddy Claire Parks is coming in to do that one, as she did here.

Dates? Times? Venue?

Good morning. We took off early this morning and spent the day up north. The highlight of the day was watching a snake swallow a fish.

I love Forever Plaid and Lucky Stiff; however, some things are just not meant to be movies.

Well folks it is official I am having the thyroid removed. Just waiting for the results of blood and one final biopsy test. Not sure when this is going to happen, but probably at the end of August being of September time frame.

Hope everything goes well, Michael!!

Lucky Stiff is some kind of weird thing - it has no shot at being a hit, so one wonders who funded it and why.

Maybe the soundtrack will be good...at least they have Broadway singers who actually know how to sing Broadway-type theater songs, even if it is for a movie.

Hey, George, are you going to audition for pug's show in Tacoma?

I didn't know about pug's show in Tacoma.  I will investigate. :)

Thinking about a jog - must do it now if it's to be done and conversely if it's to be done must do it now.

I have investigated..."Dial M for Murder."  I hadn't thought about auditioning, but I'll certainly go see it.

There was no traffic on the way to the swim meet which was great news. And there was parking available in the parking lot.  Only small problem is that we weren't sure where the parking lot entrance was so we ended up going around a huge bunch of blocks to get to the right place.

The pool was beautiful (it is new) and my niece won all three of her races.  It started to rain hard and they had to stop the meet due to lightening. So hopefully they were able to finish it after we left (it never rained at my house).

Congrats to your niece x 3, Jennifer!

Thanks DR George, since she started winter swimming this year and is still 8 years old she is winning most of her races. I think she only came 2nd once (to her teammate who is an exceptional swimmer). Luckily at the Sectionals this Saturday they will be swimming alternating races (you are only allowed to swim 2 plus relay).

And on that note (F-natural), I'm going home.

Until later.

The library finally got a copy of the Broadway Wildhorn Jekyll and Hyde with David Hasselhoff. I'm going to start this tonight. But three minutes into and I'm already laughing. I don't know how long this will last.

One of the bad things about coming in for closeups in the stage show is that the corpse on Jekyll's slab can be seen breathing.

I hate it when the corpses start breathing.

I suspect the fish would beg to differ

So BK , just out of curiosity, at what time of the morning  do you believe it is acceptable to begin phoning and making outside noises... (tree trimming , lawn mowing, conversations  etc)  and at what time of night do you believe all such activity should cease?

Here's a Wednesday question for whomsoever:

I'd like a recommendation or two for stagings of THE FIREBIRD and THE RITE OF SPRING ballets on Blu-ray or DVD.

I thought I'd find more selection than I just did in a cursory look on Amazon.

DR ChasSmith -

The Gergiev versions supposedly contain the reconstructed original choreography.

I'm watching "America's Got Talent."  Most of these finalists are quite talented.  One...a roller-blade skater...was compared to the singer, Wing. ;)
