Just to be clear.  I did like The Silkworm, I just thought it was a little on the long side. I liked The Cuckoo's Calling better.  I probably said it, but I love the characters of Robin and Cormoran Strike although I think I imagine Strike to be older than he is.   You learn more about them in this one which was fun.    Can't wait to read the next one

This noon, Edith and Vitalino took me out for lunch. Vitalino brought both Edith and I bouquets of flowers, he brought me a gift and a birthday cake.  He amazes me.  He just graduated from high school and he's so considerate year after year.

I realized after we got home that I never took any pictures  so I asked the Vixter for my camera back... she advised gthat she had hung it on my chair at the retsaurant

I started celebrating my bday last night with a trip to the middle of no where to a great pizzeria that uses a 900 degree wood fired oven and makes the pizza in 90 seconds.  It was wonderful
