It reminds me of the blue hair cream Bryan used in high school.  When we put the house of for sale we had to paint the ceiling of his shower because it was blue.  He stopped using it after that-lol

All that 32,000 post means is that I don't shut up.

And that's why we love you!

And now, I must be off to the theater.  The sound designer is actually in the show, so hopefully what he wrote in the script last night will be easy for me to follow.

Until later!

DR Ginny your bedroom is going to feel very different once you are done.  It should be very cheerful with the light blue.

It looks nice!  Are you able to sleep there with the smell?

Amazingly, DR Jennifer, this paint has no smell.  I did get a whiff during the night on Saturday, but realized it was coming from upstairs where Rob and Mary Linda had painted the ceiling in their living/dining room right above our bedroom.

It sounds like you purchased the less toxic paint.

Low VOC paint doesn't smell that bad. Also, you can get this stuff that absorbs the odor.

Well, yesterday I went to Wal-Mart and looked at TVs.  I saw one or two I liked and came home to research check out the dimensions etc. I ended up getting a 40 inch Vizio smart TV.  It was really highly rated on Cnet and other sites.    I absolutely love it.  It's amazing how much the technology has changed since I bought the one I've had in my living room for the last 7 years

TOD:

My late friend Kim Fowler's father directed this film.  He was more well known for his work in film editing.  When I stayed in their house, I got to sleep in the room with the dozen + Emmy Awards.

I watch a lot of TV, so I figured it was the best thing I could do for my birthday present to me.  I do like the smart features like Netflix and Amazon streaming. I have a Roku, but it's nice to have it built in.  It responds better

I wonder what bk has got up his sleeve for the 50th milestone Kritzerland show in a few month's time?

I was wondering the same thing.  Congratulations on #47!

Too bad #50 couldn't be the first one in NYC!

Nah, that's okay -- it's appropriate for the big anniversary to be held right where it's been.

But we'd happily settle for #51!     :D

Someone here needs to win the Lotto quick, so they can fly all of us in for the big show!

I went from a 32 inch to a 40 inch and the picture is SO much clearer.  I'm almost afraid to watch Hoarders, might be a little to much

Back from the screening.  When people find out about this they are going to be very happy.  It was actually supposed to be announced in May (that the restoration was happening) but it didn't.  However, the plan is for a Blu-ray to be issued in November, so not too long of a wait.  If it looked spectacular projected from a Blu-ray test disc on a huge screen, it's going to look amazing on our home screens.  That said, Mr. Harris and I were sitting there joking and imagining all the complaints from those horrid little people who complain and know better about everything.

I would have spent half the night standing in front of the mirror  practicing my acceptance speech while clutching one or two of them

Now let me see if I understand this.  Your husband refuses to eat pasta, but he eats broccoli?

Oranges and apples here.  If I had to give up one it would be pasta and I would keep the healthy veggie.

It had nothing to do with being healthy or with my personal choice.  It was just an observation.

All that 32,000 post means is that I don't shut up.

And we would never want you to.  You have far too many juicy stories.

tonight I made chicken breast which have marinated in an orange juice/garlic/white wine mixture  for 24 hours,  I served this with  steamed broccoli and a quinoa/wildrice mixture with almonds and cranberries and a chicken /orange glace gravy

they both loved the chicken, gravy and broccoli -   the quinoa mixture was not a hit

and it has nothing to do with healthy

They'll both eat broccoli

Vixdad will eat brussells sprouts

neither will eat cabbage, sauerkraut, or red cabbage although Vixdad will eat coleslaw

neither will touch spinach , turnips, squash or eggplant

they will eat carrots  but not enthusiastically, same with corn and green beans

they both love peas

I saw this in the movies as a double feature (remember them?) with The Godfather (a strange double bill)

I was I guess 15 or 16 at the time and of course was the perfect audience for "Friends"  I bought the soundtrack and played  it to death
