DR George at least if the first candidate doesn't accept you have an alternative.

My eBook library now shows the list of books I have recommended.  I need to pay more attention as one of the books did not go automatically into my hold list.  I have corrected the situation, however, I am 52nd in the queue.

Another books shows it is available until I attempt to put a hold on it.  I have one book that shows me as 1st in the queue of 0 books.  That one has been on my hold list for about a month now.

That is awful news, DR elmore3003.

I hope the problems are not too difficult and easily surmountable.

I won't know until we hear from the Kern attorney. The Man from Philadelphia thinks it's not a problem, but there was an unexpected glitch about the spoken dialogue that I thought had been covered in 2013 before we recorded.  I hope the attorney is not away this entire week.

~~~Continued ROBERTA Vibes!!~~~
Thanks, DR George! Just when you think all is well . . .
DR Ginny is it possible for you to sleep in another room while the paint is fresh?
It would have been until Saturday, when we gave away the last of the extra beds to clear out the upstairs for Rob and Mary Linda.  If it's too bad we do have 2 couches and 3 recliners where we could sleep in a pinch.
Well, today is the day for the in-person interviews for the library selector.  We have two candidates.  I'm sure that either one would be very good.  They both have a lot of experience, AND the right kind of experience.  Also, when we did the Skype interviews, they both seemed like very nice people.  We'll see what happens! :D
Well, that was NOT an easy decision to make.  Both candidates gave very good interviews.  They both had their strengths and weaknesses.  It was very balanced.  One would have one experience, but not another.  The other would have the other experience, but not the one.  Afterward, we on the hiring committee talked about how well each would fit in with our "culture" and we all felt that either would fit in very well.    But a decision was made.  I don't doubt that that candidate will accept (it's happened before...more than once...where someone was offered a position and then didn't accept).  Anyway, it's over and I'm glad.  But it was interesting to be involved in the process. :)
Acceptance vibes.
Broadwayworld has an article on Skip's show Herringbone (which Skip wrote with Tom Cone and Ellen Fitzhugh) in Philly in July.
DR Laura  X's is short for Sioux City Explorers. That's their logo on everything.  We cheer "Go X's"  etc.  The Diamondbacks bought Nate Samson's contract.  I don't know him personally, just like watching him play baseball
J.K. Rowling's second Cormoran Strike detective novel, The Silkworm, has been published.
Don't know if the first printings will go crazy in price like the first one did, since now the cat is out of the bag as to who "Robert Galbraith" is.
I'm reading it on Kindle (well my Surface) it was only $8.99  I'm enjoying it
Oh we had storms starting at about 4:00 AM and going all morning.  It really didn't clear until mid afternoon.  The first time my weather radio went off was 4:00, then 5:15 AM....I decided to get up
why the exact same thing happens when I crack an egg at home --- which explains why we usually go out for breakfast
Good morning, all! I have physical therapy in another hour, then I will return here, proofread all the essays going to New World Records, and then begin sending everything for the booklet to them.
DR Ben, I wasn't back on line last night to congratulate your 34th anniversary in Manhattan. We're lucky DC didn't lure you away.
DR vixmom, I should have added to my post that you're also a fantastic friend, one of the best!
((((elmore))))
I needed that after this day!  Thank you!!   :-* :-* :-*
