DR Singdaw, congratulations on becoming one of us in the apnea club. To get used to your mask, I would suggest you wear it for short naps in the early days. See if you can wear it for 20 or 30 minutes.

and if you find that the mask you are using does not work for you, be sure to try out other types. I went from a mask to nasal pillows and found it worked much better for me. There are lots of choices for you.

Glad you are getting this taken care of DR Singdaw! Sleep apnea plays such havoc with your health, and we like a happy, healty Singdaw!

DR Jane, I wish you would get checked. Maybe DR Keith doesn't realize how serious sleep apnea is. If he did he would likey have you getting the test immediately.

I shall shortly be on my way to rehearsal, and hopefully I can do what I need to do without my leading man.

Boy, that sucks about Abner's absence today.  Of course you'll work around it, but there's no two ways about it:  it sucks.

Greetings, all,

And Happy Birthday to DR FJL!

BK, I am so very glad to hear that things are improving at Abner (other than the missing Abner today). Here's hoping that the bump in the road evens out swiftly, and becomes a faded memory.

TOD: Not much going on there. Stuck in the vampire musical thingie until Monday night. It bites.   :D

"hopefully I can do what I need to do without my leading man."

That is the title of the 5th chapter of my autobiography.

Kind of a slow news day. Time for some movie posters.

Topic of the Day:  just arrived from Amazon.com:  the original cast recording of Fun Home with Beth Malone, Michael Cerveris and Judy Kuhn; and the original cast mini-album of Allegiance, with Lea Salonga, Telly Leung and George Takei.  I'm really looking forward to listening to both of these. :)

One night Fillmore Crank (who later married Beverly Garland) was driving through the valley with Miss Allison Hayes.  They noticed that her name was on many of the Drive-In marquees.  He remarked that she certainly worked a lot....to which she replied:  "I work cheap."

I thought of that when I saw the three Merry Anders' posters from DR MBARNUM.

Re: Firefox, the changes happened because Chrome is a VERY popular browser and they want to make Firefox look and behave more like Chrome. Both Firefox and Internet Explorer are losing users, Firefox not as fast as IE but Firefox is no longer at the top of the heap for Browser use. Some of the changes have been in the works for quite a while but I also think some of them have been introduced now as a way to take people's minds away from the Brendan Eich/Prop 8 Mozilla Foundation debacle

Jack, yes, the 3 bars at the top right of the browser is the new Control Panel for settings, although if you have a Top Row of commands (File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help) on the upper left corner of Firefox many of the commands are there as well as in the Control Panel.

I don't like the Chrome browser.  I use Firefox at home.  Here at work, we only have IE...no choice whatsoever.

Great movie posters, as always.  The one thing I wonder while scrolling through them is:  Where in the HELL are all of these movies?  Maybe they're more readily available than I know, but I'm not recognizing a single one of these titles, and they all look great.

Wow, Wendell Corey!  He would have been 100 this past March 20.  A solid B-movie and TV actor in WOMEN OF THE PREHISTORIC PLANET!  It seems that his role in REAR WINDOW was the height of his career.

Well DR DAN M I guess there is something to be said about having savage planet women and female space invaders fighting over you....even in a movie....even if you were once directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
